1850-O $20 Liberty Head Gold Proof Double Eagle Reproduction Coin
10 mil 24k gold plated
This is an original size, die struck reproduction of a 1850-O Liberty Head Double Eagle. It is in pristine condition and a great placeholder in any collection. The real coin would be so expensive that the normal collector can only dream of owning it in anything better than the poorest of grades - if at all. This Copy Coin is guaranteed to show even the finest of details so that it can be admired in its full glory as if it came fresh from the mint.
This Copy Coins are as close as possible to the original coins in size, appearance and appeal and will fit perfectly next to the other coins in your collection.
This coins are die struck on planchets of correct size and thickness (within reasonable tolerances) to resemble their famous counterparts perfectly. In accordance with the Hobby Protection Act each coin is permanently incused with the word COPY on either the front or the back of the coin (see picture). They are not and never were US currency. All coins are individually packed in a protective hard plastic holder casing to maintain its pristine condition during transport in the mail.
